Loving Care for
Your furry friends!

We know how important it is to feel comfortable with the person you are entrusting to care for your pets. Our mission is to ensure that you have peace of mind while you’re away from home.

At Hound About Town, your pets are treated like our own: as individuals with unique needs, personalities, preferences, and quirks. We take the time to get to know them so our time together fulfills their physical needs as well as their social and emotional needs too.

Why choose in home pet care

  • Small white dog with an open mouth, smiling as it's jumping through a grassy field.

    IN-HOME CARE

With in-home pet care, your pets are often much happier staying in the comfort and familiarity of their own home, rather than being boarded in a noisy, unfamiliar kennel. They can also maintain their daily routines and enjoy personalized, one-on-one attention while you’re away. Plus, you’ll have peace of mind knowing that your pet is protected from exposure to communicable illnesses and parasites, such as kennel cough and giardia, which can be a risk in busy boarding facilities.

    DAILY VISITS

Our visits include providing fresh food and water, cleaning litter boxes or picking up after your dog in the yard and during walks, and offering physical and mental enrichment through play and exercise. We also cater to your pet’s emotional and social needs with one-on-one attention and affection, administer medication if needed, and send daily updates with photos and videos of your pet. Additionally, we offer a range of customized services to address any other needs you or your pet may have.

    HOME SAFETY

In-home pet care also helps enhance the security of your home by providing a lived-in appearance and monitoring for issues while you’re away. During visits, we alternate lights, use manual indoor outlet timers to control lamps, adjust curtains and blinds, take trash cans to and from the curb on garbage day, and bring mail, newspapers, and packages inside daily. This comprehensive service helps deter unwanted attention and adds an extra layer of protection to your home while you’re traveling.
